In addition to the traditional 5th November bonfire night displays that take place around the UK, public firework displays take place at many other times of the year, often as part of other events.

Major National Events



18/19th August – British Firework Championships, Plymouth

This is one of the largest annual firework events which runs over two nights and involves six major display companies competing for the title British Firework Champion. 
This event draws thousands to the City, so book accommodation early. 


24-26th September – British Musical Firework Championships, Southport

The biggest annual musical firework event in the UK, this competition takes place over three nights.

28th October – Halloween Fireworks Spectacle, The Flambards Experience, Helston

Enjoy an evening of live music rounded off with a firework display.  
Tickets: £21.95 adults/Children £9.95 plus concessions.  



31st October – Firework Spooktacular, National Motor Museum, Beaulieu

A spooky evening of music and fireworks.  
Tickets: £13.50 adults/Children £8.75/Family £38
